A dated, closed-off kitchen reimagined as a bright gathering space.
The homeowners wanted to open their 1990s kitchen to the family room, add a large island for entertaining, and bring in warm, timeless finishes that would feel at home in a modern upgrade.
We removed a wall, relocated the range to a new hood wall, and built custom framed cabinetry in our shop. A 10-foot quartz island with seating for four anchors the room, while handmade tile and brass details add warmth.
